An Energy Performance Certificate is needed whenever you want to build, rent or sell property. As the owners, you must order an EPC for potential buyers or tenants before you market your property.
An EPC gives your property an energy efficiency rating from G to A and will be valid for ten years.
It will contain:
• Information concerning the property’s energy use and standard energy costs.
• Recommendations on how the owners can reduce energy use and save money.
Once an EPC has been granted, it goes on the EPC register so potential clients or buyers can see the energy efficiency rating of your property. Our building surveyors will offer professional advice on how to make your property as energy efficient as possible to ensure you are saving as much as possible financially.
Regardless of whether the property in question is a new build, under construction or is a long standing structure, our surveyors will be able to advise you on the best ways to increase your efficiency and lower your monthly bills.
Our building surveyors, depending on your requirements, will conduct a building survey, home condition survey, homebuyer’s survey, property survey and property floor plans.
